Welcome to SchoolTravelSurvey.co.uk. This new resource has been developed by Transept Consulting Ltd following extensive work with Local Authorities on School Travel Programmes.

Transept Consulting Ltd, with Reading Borough Council, is conducting a systemic review of travel to school across Reading Borough. As part of this review a School Travel Survey has been developed for pupils, parents and staff of each secondary school in Reading Borough. The survey will also consider the views of parents with children currently in Year 6.
                            
The school travel survey will capture data on the current travel patterns of pupils, parents and staff, and more specifically focus on the reasons behind these travel choices. The survey will capture pupils and parents perceptions of what the current problems are with school transport, and what changes could be made to improve it.

Please take time to complete the relevant survey for your school. The surveys will help to establish current and future transport needs, and will influence the development of strategies to improve school transport.
